By Law Change in Summary
effective Jan. 01. 2009

Each member is required to attend no less than 65% of the scheduled meetings for the year.
If a member does not meet the minimum requirement her membership shall be terminated.
There are no longer "excused" and "unexcused" absences; the 65% attendance must be met
regardless. A member who cannot attend a meeting may send a representative/employee of her
business in her stead to meet the requirement.

The amendment shall be incorporated into the by-law text as:

Page 4, paragraph titled Attendance shall have the last sentence referring to "excused absence"
removed.

Page 5, paragraph titled Leave of Absence shall be removed. Any leave of absence after
Jan. 1, 2009 shall be calculated by the 65% rule.

Page 5, paragraph titled Termination, subsection #1 shall have its text replaced with:
the member has failed to attend 65% of the scheduled meetings in a calendar year.

The new sequence will read:
Termination of a membership will occur when a member has failed to attend 65% of the scheduled
meetings in a calendar year. The final sentence of the Termination paragraph referring to
"approved" and "non-approved" shall be removed.

In each case where the old text has been altered or removed, it shall be annotated with the date of
the revision.
